Welcome to my blog! My name is Michelle and I am a senior at Boston University studying Public Relations and Gender, Sexuality and Activism. This blog is a space for personal musings about race, gender, sexuality, feminism, anti-oppression and the media. Recognizing that mainstream media and culture is dominated by a white male perspective is crucial to consuming popular culture in a critical and feminist way. This blog was started as a space for me to share opinions about the Occupy Boston movement, hence the title. I have also added some of my professional resources and ambitions as well.
